Akteon Rooms - Agia Galini (Crete)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The value for money was great, and the room was spacious with plenty of light. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the harbour. The staff treated us with such warmth and hospitality, cute us with water, sweets, and local raki.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be to have real juice instead of juice drinks.

Typical place to stay near to bars, what I was expecting. The location was magnificent and incredible in the centre of the village. It was within 5 minutes walk from Cafe Limani, serving nice coffee and goodies: D

Delicious Cretan Breakfast: Each morning, I indulged in a scrumptious Cretan breakfast featuring fresh yogurt with local honey, handmade sweets, and an array of fresh eggs, fruits. It was a heavenly feast that filled me with energy for the day ahead.

Tiny Bathroom/Shower: The bathroom/shower in my room was quite small, making it a challenge for taller guests to comfortably use.

We had a very very good stay in Agia Galini just off the gulf, beach, bars, restaurants, and a fantastic view of the sea and the local harbour. It was in an unbeatable and excellent place. Also, it was based right in the centre of town...

Mind-blowing views from the shared balcony, easy check-in, friendly hosts, convenient location near tavernas and the harbour, comfortable older-style rooms.

The close proximity of Akteon Rooms to the harbor allowed us to easily explore the charming town and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was definitely the delicious breakfast, prepared with love and featuring local treats that our children devoured. We highly recommend Akteon Rooms for families looking for a welcoming and centrally located place to stay in Agia Galini.

My wife says that having more kid-friendly amenities, such as a play area or a children's menu at the restaurant, would have been a great addition for families with children.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Agia Galini for 5 nights. The owner and her daughter provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect, with bars and restaurants just steps away and a short walk to the beautiful beach. The rooms were comfortable and had stunning views from the shared balcony. The hotel had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the host had great recommendations for restaurants in the area. a lovely hotel experience.

As bike riders, we loved that Akteon Rooms is located close to the coastal walk to the east. the views from the shared balcony were great, and it was convenient to walk to the tavernas and the harbor.

Great location, with a beautiful ocean view from the terrace outside the room. The breakfast served was good, with plenty of homemade delicious food. Also, the hostess was friendly and polite, making us feel like we were visiting a beloved relative. Restaurants and cafes were just a few meters away, and the nearest beach was only a short 7-minute walk from the hotel.

The room itself was very basic and worn down, and the bathroom was quite small, feeling like a closet. Additionally, the price for the room seemed a bit too high compared to the quality of the accommodations.

Having stayed at Akteon Rooms for the second time, I can confidently say that I will book here again on my next visit to this charming town. the atmosphere is perfect, and the host is wonderful. the homemade breakfast served on the lovely terrace with a fantastic view is simply delightful. It includes coffee, tea, juice, homemade jam, omelette, yoghurt. the location is perfect, offering a nice ocean view from the terrace outside the room. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 🌟.
